Automatic Equipment Identification (AEI)

Intertech Rail has developed the AEI (Automatic Equipment Identification) system where the train is fully identified and is composed of wagon by wagon, locomotive by locomotive, and this system is composed of a portal that includes a reading antenna and RFID, with the RFIDs installed in wagons and locomotives, as well as the reader specialized in railroads.

With this system it is possible to know that that wagon has passed through exactly that point where the portal is. In addition to this portal, an axis sensor can be installed that helps in the exact composition of the train (Train Consist), where the entire train is assembled and identified so that the Rolling Stock control is done in a perfect way. In addition to the AEI system, Intertech Rail has also developed an SCCR system, a rail component identification system.

And in this case, in addition to the RFID tag that is placed on the wagon, an RFID tag can also be placed on the wagon and locomotive components, such as wheelsets, axles, trucks, engines, and other parts of the locomotive.

In this case, the reader is able to read the tags in addition to the tags of the wagon, the tags of the components and make a perfect control of the assets that are transiting through that point of the railroad.

For the AEI, Intertech Rail can promote the installation both on the Wayside and between the rails with the tags under the wagons.

For vandalism situations this is highly indicated because the reader with the antenna is buried between the rails and the tag is under the wagons and locomotives making any problem of vandalism difficult.
